Mr. Bill is a man with a life time of exciting adventurers with experiences to share.
Growing up in a war ravaged Britain in the Portsmouth area which was bombed 67 times. Bill played truant from school for a whole term and was not missed. As a little boy he became a midwife runner to assist his Mother (who was the local midwife), child porter, sack maker, florist and cinema operator. As a youth Bill became a soft drink Salesperson and was very successful at it.
He became a keen observer of human conditions and so learned that success would only be achieved by personal effort and excellence.
In the military, Bill became a marksman in the Kings Royal Rifles Regiment. In 1957 Bill started his Middle East adventures during the Suez crisis.
During his time in North Africa he took over as the Manager of the Officer’s Mess Hotel, inaugurated a Scout Troop and, at one time, led a squad of soldiers back to base camp after they became lost. |
